For the first time we were playing all the numbers in sequence from the 12 to the Zero. I won twice as did a few others but every one won once. The Husband rarely wins and he won twice also. Hurrahs rang in the air for him.
All of us are in our 70s or 80s, but for the woman who shares my birthday. I'll call her Arit, she is the youngest of the group and in her 60s.
Afterwards Arit & I stopped to let Charlie out etc then we went to this tiny county restuarant not far from the Civic Center. I'd never been there before. No one was there but the 5 of us, the cook, her young son and a waitress - they were all youngish compared to our group. We had good lunch then Arit drove me to the town where my pharmacy is - an hour one way from my house. It's a lovely little rustic rural town.
We then drove back to my house talking the entire time. Arit walked my property with me and we discussed trees. LOL! And mowing huge yards.
I will go back on Friday to play Five Crowns in the morning then home again to work on the HHS paperwork I need to copy and mail on Sat. Luckily Boy will be here tomorrow to drop off 2 5 gal jugs of water and black ink for my copier.
I don't think I need to mention that Charlie was very excited to see us before we went to the pharmacy as Arit stopped by my place so I could let him out as it was 2pm when we left the restuarant. He couldn't see in the car but was very curious.
Considering that I had walked to the Civic Center and got there at 9:30am. Poor Charlie. So I fed him, let him walk about, etc then he went back inside with a few treats to keep him happy. It was almost 5pm when we finally got home from the pharmacy.
It was one heck of a great day!
Well - none of this probably makes much sense but I don't care. I had a ball!
