You and I both! We need sugar for our birds!
It sounds like your kit foxes got pretty bold! I does seem strange, though, that they wouldn't trap them after they had become accustomed to being so close to large numbers of children.
I'm not sure that they will want to trap the lion, either. We will just let them know. They considered trapping the bobcat that we had that one time, but he was gone. Maybe the lion will keep going, too? I hope so. That's the best case scenario for all.
Oh, dear, I'm so sorry about the situation.
I can understand how things can become a tangled mess, even when you try for it not to, but: A - Generally you don't spend money on things that would be considered more frivolous at that point, and B - You can't expect someone else to foot the bill each time.
I don't know their situation, but they must have some type of income...so it makes you wonder what the income is going for. I'm sure that's crossed your mind.
Meanwhile, you feel terrible not helping, even though you have so many times before. And, the fact that you're no longer working is a good point, plus the fact that you've been stuck paying for things that you signed for in the past is another good point. I'm just so sorry, because it's really difficult to watch your children struggle, but worse if they haven't learned from the experiences.
I will pray for the situation.
Otherwise, have a wonderful week. The girls will probably enjoy the weather and entertain you with their antics!
