How cool to see that large hawk!
She's being very serious about thinking of the names, too!
Yuck is right, re: earwigs!
I can't imagine where a pet tarantula would have come from. When I was growing up, my poor mother found both a full-sized tarantula, and a harmless snake - at 2 different times, in our garage.
My father was at work, but the neighbor's husband worked from home, so he was called upon to move each of those critters. He wasn't my favorite person in the world, but to his credit he had no problem relocating the snake, or putting the tarantula in a coffee can for us, and his sons, to look at before...well, I'm not sure. I suppose that he relocated it, as well.
My mother was so *not* a snake and spider person. She was going after the snake with a broom when the neighbor came over to see what the ruckus was about.
Oh, no! I am so sorry that he was searching for you guys. I'm praying that he's okay, though I can see why he would be upset. Darn!
I hope that you have a good week, in all ways!
