I gave up after day 3. Boy got the mower and forgot to take home the gas can. 8-(
I received the green fencing tarp / material. 5 feet high by 50 feet wide. I have been cutting down any thing that is growing through the chainlink from the neighbors yard. That includes Honeysuckle vines. I have tried really hard to keep as much of the vines on their side as possible.
Then I cut off anything else. There are tree trunks growing through the fence and I don't have a chain saw. It's a pair of those big clippers.. boy is that hard to do.
Luckily Boy has a chain saw. There are thin tree trunks growing up in a clump. What a pain.
I have more to do such as my compost pile and a set up of pallets that I have placed yard stuff not in use inside. Where I will put the compost pile????? 8-(
I have a few younger trees growing amids my lantanna bushes. I have over 12 of them and they are all good sized and larger - like 4 feet wide by 4 feet high and a few larger and a few smaller.
Thank goodness I have the Community Trash pickup. Mike started it and he goes way beyond helpful.
Ok here is my new medical info. I switched Doctors. My original dr was more of less useless. I dealt with over two years of agony and had to get myself to the ER. Thank goodness I won't have my neighbor going with me.
I have the ladies at the community center that will take me now. I am more or less in the upper older age group... mid 70s thats me to upper 8os.
My first appointment will be July 6th... thursday. I already have 4 pages of medical info written out.
I left a message for my previous dr - she just wasn't paying attention and was totally lacking in knowledge. I spent over 2.5 years in agony... whew! more then I wanted to deal with.
Luckily my Rx's are good through the end of July. Charlies are through the vet so no problem there.
So I only have two Meds for me and will get those refilled in Mid july.
The temps are to be in the 100's later today and over the rest of the weeks ahead. We always have 100's but with the clouds now themornings are in the 70's - perfect for night time. Usually by now no rain at all. I think we will have rain overnight as the humidity is very thick. Storms have been almost every few days now. Whichis highly unusual.
Charlie is doing better. I let him run a bit whenhe starts pulling on the lead if dogs or people are around. It last less then a minute or so then he calms down. He takes a long time to do his business - peeing is no problem - so letting him rev up a bit by running a bit gets his motor going.
He's gaining weight as well. His face is very whiteish!. Age is showing on my buddy. Plus he is slowing down.
He isn't happy about putting his head ont he harness though he tolerates my putting it on him. I usually use two leashes as he is so strong. But in the am I let him be only on one lead. He is calmer. But the deer are back and two babies were born, one next to my chainlink by my pet graveyard. Charlie and I happened to walk by it, I could tell it was only a few hours old.
Charlie and I calmly walked to the house. Sometimes Charlie can sense when tobe quiet.
A hasn't been around for he was in CA visiting his family with his folks. His mother is ill so I want to put her on my prayer list... I think just A's Mom would work. He is very worried about her and she is also very worried. They both need some comforting. A goes to the local church when he is here on Sundays. He is a lovely man and his folks are way cool!
Well I think that's it for now. I have stuff to do. Made a large amount of hummer food. Good thing as the hummers are drinking it like crazy.
Have a good day. Hope everyone is well.
oh and the lots of rain we got added nothing to the lake.8-( Drats!
