...jumped on it, which was what got it under control. Mind you, it was in an open area, and a lot of people saw it at 3 acres because it was next to 101. So, they got a lot of calls, and had access. They hit it with fire retardant very soon into it. What could have been bad, was that it was later in the day. Had it been much later, they couldn't have done what they did, because they are only allowed to fly until a certain time. And, the air strikes and support played a key roll in slowing down the fire to begin with.
