It's so unhealthful, that Ds got an email from Thyri's school that said that the air is so bad that the children will not be allowed outside until numbers are down. (The numbers representing how unhealthful the air is.)
Currently, it's considered bad for the healthiest people.
Because we have had winds, the lightning-started fires are being pushed, and 1,000's of acres have burned. The containment is not bad on some fires, and nearly non-existent on others.
When I went to local news this morning, all of the headlines were fire related.
There was a fire just over our grade at the south end of town, and when the incident commander asked for air support, as it was heading to a town next to Ukiah, they had to say no, as there's not enough to go around, either personnel or equipment, with all of the fires from here to the Oregon border.
There are now firefighters here from around the nation, and we are still short.
Here are a couple of quick copy/pastes on specific fires:
There are about 3,035 personnel today on the fire (about 374 more than Monday).
Size: 75,775 acres today compared to 70,716 acres on Monday, which is a growth 0f 5,059 from yesterday.
Containment has inched up to 7%.

Current Situation: People and Equipment:
850 personnel, crews, engines, dozers, water tenders and air support
About the air:
Mendocino County from Leggett to Willits. There are serious concerna which warn “Health alert: The risk of health effects is increased for everyone with 24 hours of exposure.”
Anyway, that's a bit of an update.
