I finished the book set in Florida, and would read another from the series if it was on the free list.
Now, I'm reading a Janet Evanovich book. It's a particular series of hers about bad guy and super thief Nick Fox. Though, at some point along the line she began writing them with another author.
This is a set of 4 books in the series that I must have gotten 4 or 5 years ago, and unfortunately, I think that I've read this first one. I hope that doesn't prove true of the others. I may read this one anyway, as it's been a few years.
Nick Fox, super thief, now helps the F.B.I. He commits crimes to benefit the good guys, but no one can know about it, other than 3 people. If they are connected to him, though, they will end up in jail with him.
This time, they need him to not only break into the Smithsonian to steal a statue that's been there for 100 years, from the Chinese govt., but he's got to find the real one. 10 years ago, the original was stolen and replaced, but we're giving it back to the Chinese, and it has to be the real one. He, and his F.B.I. 'partner', have 2 weeks to pull it off, or risk an international incident.
How was your reading week?
