I'm glad to hear that most accept you for who you are.
That's what Ds has been doing. He found some pre-made spaghetti sauce that he likes - and was on sale - then he adds that to his meat, mushrooms, onions, garlic, and other ingredients. Yours sounds very good! I'm a spaghetti eater from way back. I once did the math, and figured out that I had had spaghetti with meatballs over 1,800 times by the time I was 18, minus one time. That is just at home, not anywhere else. We had it 2 x's a week. Every week! Then, aside from my grandmother's, eating out, and friends' houses, I started making my own regularly. I quickly went from making meatballs to a meat sauce, though.
Yes, the sauce freezes really well!
The big egg noodles can be served with a version of stroganoff, meat in brown gravy, thick stew, etc.
I like making a large batch of food that takes me several days to eat. Works for me! :-)
