Well, it was officially chilly this week, even though the afternoons were anywhere from 60's to 80's. A couple of nights were great, but a lot were in the low to high 40's. I'm just not acclimated yet, I guess. And, there were a couple of days of wind which made it really cold feeling.
We have a chance of rain today, and it looks like the daytime temperatures will be a little warmer next week, with the nighttime temperatures ranging from brrrrr! to okay.
No one has a reason to remember my Picture Keeper. I got it around 10 years ago? It looks like a thumb drive and it saves all new photos on your computer without saving the ones that it's already backed up. Anyway, I've liked it over the years.
Now, there's the 2.0 and it sounds amazing. Ds will bring me one in a few days. Apparently, there was a sale on a pair of them. Anyway, this one still saves photos - but not just off of computers, but phones, as well as contact lists if you like, and videos.
But, boy and girls, that's not the interesting part. The interesting part is that you can 'fix' photos with it. For example, take a photo of a family photo and it straightens it because you can hardly ever get the correct angle.
Also, it's got the best erase tool that I've ever seen. You rub something out, like someone's hand in a photo, and it disappears with the correct looking background to replace it. And more, but, and this is soooo cool....it can, with a touch, turn a black and white photo into a colored photo!
I have nothing against black and white old family photos, I have a ton of them. But, if they look as good as what I saw on the video that I watched, it's really exciting. There's a ton of potential with this. I know that there's software that does this and everything else, but this A - looks super user friendly, and B - you don't need to buy expensive software.
Anyway, I'm looking forward to trying it, though I don't have a phone. It does sound like a good idea to back up photos on phones, though.
I am still not able to push up, or much of anything else, but I've cut my use of my gel cream by half, and I have way more pain on one side than the other. It even hurts to breathe. But, it gives me hope that I'm trying to heal? It's been a bit over 2 1/2 weeks. Patience...
While I'm not doing much, I've been watching a house renovation show. The woman is a little much sometimes, but the show has given me a couple of interesting ideas, and just as importantly: things never to do!
There are some colors, painting ideas, and patterns that just aren't for me at all. And, some ideas just aren't as functional for me as they might be for other people.
The chicks' eggs are a little larger this week. Eventually, they will be full sized.
Because it got cool, bugs have tried to sneak in. We've removed all kinds of little critters. My biggest hair-raiser was when ants were marching toward the door! I haven't had ants here, and don't intend to now - sheesh!
The hens have been on edge the past 3 evenings, which is unusual. I have to assume that there's an animal skulking about that we can't see, so we've tried to get them to go to bed just a little earlier than usual.
Well, that's about all from this neck of the woods. How was your week?
