I am used to judging earthquakes on their magnitude, but apparently it's got more to do with which fault it's on, how much you feel it. I'm hoping that that was the whole event, and that these weren't before-quakes!
Regardless of what the people studying them say about timing, weather, and so forth, we get more earthquakes in October than in many other months. Sheesh!
One October, in L.A., when we had a good sized earthquake, our power went out, and the containers of ice cream that we'd gotten for some get-together or other, started to melt. We told the kids to go ahead and enjoy it, and we ate/drank melting ice cream! Again....sheesh!
