I have to admit that her books are really graphic. The plots are amazing considering they take place in Victorian era.
She has the clothes, language, etc. down perfectly. Including the attitudes of men vs women and men and women vs their Servents, and vs the rich, i.e, vs poverty stricken and destitute. The reality is so realistic for each level of society, that I am saddened, angry and despairing while reading her books. But overall fascinated.
There are parts where I HAVE TO STOP MID PAGE as I feel too much. It is always at a horrific point in the plot. Talk about realism!
I need to check the books I have to buy after I get paid. There are 9 books to go n this series. Idon't think she died where she was going to end the series. So I need to just buy the missing ones and read them in order.
I also have 3 or 4 In Death Books to buy. That will be in 2024. Then I will know where those books ended in 2022 or 2023.
At lease In Death books are no where as graphic as Charlotte & Thomas Pitt books are. Well there are a couple I don't like parts of. Out of 50+ books thats pretty good for the series.
Well off to post. Have a good day!
