We're making headway on our books, but it is a set of 5.
Meanwhile, I'm reading a mystery which seems to be set in Victorian times. It's about a man who is now an inspector with Scotland Yard. He's nice, but not particularly well suited to it.
A relative leaves him money, and he now employs her staff - maid, cook, a man who cares for his relatives 2 horses, and one other. He moved to a new house 1 1/2 years ago, and needed a woman to run the house - enter, Mrs. Jeffries. She loves to solve mysteries, so 'helps' her employer, though she lets him think that he's coming up with the answers.
She drags the other staff into her investigations, and does things like hide her boss's glasses so she can read reports to him, therefore know them to cont. her investigating on cases.
So far, it's a cute book.
How was your reading week?
