It's The Little Things That Make Life Such A Big Deal!

Last night, DH went to pick up some dinner as it was getting late. I wanted to shower and decided I'd take Emma in the bathroom, the way I had always done with Chelsea and Tase (Tase insisted on being in the bathroom when we showered; she loved standing under the shower curtain.) I got in the bathroom, turned my back, and when I turned around, Emma had grabbed the end of the tp roll and ran to the bathroom door with it. Boy, it's been years since that happened around here! Then, when I was showering, she kept putting her front paws up on the side of the tub and peeking in, to be sure I was in there. As I turned to shut off the shower, she hopped in with me. She has already had one bath; I didn't think she needed a shower, too. I was LOL; the last time anything like that happened, my 22 year old DS was 2 1/2 and it was Chelsea who kept hopping into his bathwater. She got a bath every day with Phillip for awhile there. Gave me a good chuckle, anyway.
We walked her right before bed; she isn't too great on the leash yet, and then put her in her crate and went to bed. I hadn't had time to read much yet on crating and I put the crate in the back bathroom/laundry room. Of course, she cried. I hopped online and found a site on crate training and read that isolation is against pack instinct, so I brought the crate into our bedroom and put her back in and she did fine the rest of the night, for the most part. I need to find some good sites on training, not just crate training, but overall training, so I can read up on all I have ahead of me, because she's going to be the easy one, since she's older and somewhat trained (like mostly house-broken, etc.)
This is going to be fun; I needed a challenge in my life and a good impetus to start getting up earlier in the mornings.
