If I'm going to recycle a roll, once the paper is gone, sometimes I give it to Jet for a while, and let him dust it first.
He doesn't bother with them unless I give them to him, so I don't feel I'm encouraging anything. He doesn't eat any of it, just enjoys shredding it.
I put him on a sheet at the end of the bed, so it's easy to clean up.
