....around many loud animals, including having been in an indoor enclosure with roaring African lions (deafening.), I've never been in a room/house with howling mastiffs, and can imagine how quickly that would wear thin.
As for your health, you can't afford to compromise yourself at any time of year, but especially not going into the cold/wet season. You helped a lot, more than most people would, and I know it was appreciated, but I'm also sure that they understand why you can't do more at this point.
Wow, they are growing *really* fast! I'm used to big dog pups, but not that big of dog pups!!
I hope that they cont. to gain and thrive, that the adults come to terms with the situation, that Debbie and dh keep their sanity and health while working so hard everyday right now, and that you don't have any ill effects from having stayed and helped.
