Yes, I know all about regret when it comes to photos, and videos. 
All we can do is just keep trying now, with the critters who are still with us, until we get good photos/footage of them, I think.
I do love a scotty! 
I'm surprised about the low number of entries, too. I wonder if people aren't working with their dogs...it seems hard not to, when they offer the original behavior on their own, and it just needs refining...or if they are getting stumped on the filming part?
