From the people I speak with who have Service Animals, Wal-Mart is one of the worst offenders, across the country, for not allowing the legal access to disabled person-dog teams.
I got by with training Zack there when we would go to the vet, since we don't have a Wal-Mart in my town, but just barely, and I gave up trying with Tango long ago.
Well, enough people have brought complaints about them that they've been taken to task for breaking the law.
They now will have to post signs saying that SD's are welcome, and giving a phone number for infractions; will have to train their employees on the matter etc.
