Dixie is home and resting. She has a big pink bandage around her chest, a smaller one around her left leg where the catheter is, and an e-collar on to keep her from chewing up the catheter like she tried to do at the vet's. I have 2 kinds of pain pills to start tomorrow, and an injection to give her tonight. It's going to be a long night for both of us, but so worth it eventually.
