Posted by Colloidal on March 28, 2004, 5:52:29 I played closed beta for about a week, and was very impressed, of course there were still issues, but as betas go, it was very pimp. Client is about 1 gig, and beta is currently planned to last one month (which is very optimistic, I'm hoping to get more free playtime out of it). Hopefully Shadowking will eventually join me as well, but he's still doing the EQ thing and just spent 21+ hours getting a Fabled Flowing Blash Silk Sash, so refused to comtenplate joining another game (this week at least). I'll be playing on Kain as an Orc Mage >> Shaman >> Overlord, name will be Colloidal. Hope to see some ODR there, latah Colloidal

Lineage 2 will be start open beta in about 3 hours now, and there will not be a charactor deletion prior to release. There's a very UO style PvP system, probably due to Lord British being part of the game design team, but they took the PvP to a higher level, adding elements of DAoC without making it suck.
