She starts, although her emaciated figure doesn't show any movement aside from her head tilting forward quickly as her eyes pry themselves open to look around. She steadily pulls herself up and then wanders around the tree, looking into the shadows there where another form slowly appears in her vision.

It wasn't much of a greeting, but it posed something as she steps around the tree, leaning her tired frame against its bracing trunk. Her voice is croaky and breaking inside of itself, a sign of how little it had been used in the previous months.
