Posted by Liam Big thank-you to Matt , I know he puts a hell of a lot of effort into these, and it must have broke his heart to shut down that early. As for the police -whoever had the authority to send in over one hundered police officers (omplete with dog units) is likely to be in for a pretty rough ride. There must have been eight hundred man hours used to shut down a friendly event in a disused warehouse, away from residential areas and shopping districts -by an organisation who are known by local police and authorities for being tidy and responsible!! You can buy a lot of shiny badges, fluro jackets and policeman's tits with that No doubt it will be claimed a 'success' by the police, but there's no justification for those kind of measures. If they'd have sent only four or five officers, the party would have been over four/five hours later with minimal fuss. Anyway, early end or not, it was a wicked night and I can't wait for the next one! Liam
