Im afraid its not a matter of what people like Chris, its a matter of how much i have to pay for the packs and like Charlie says is all caused by VAT. Basically though if i didnt charge vat on top of the pack price then i would make less than £1 on some of these packs. Now when i realised this I asked the main promoters for a reduction in cost (these things cost them around £3-£5 each to produce)which they refused. The only other options i was left with was to stop selling them (which im sure you would rather i didnt do) or to charge VAT on them, which i now do.
The other option is of course to order them of off the promoter directly, but they charge you the full price plus postage, and by the time they have overcharged you for this it works out around the same price as getting it from me anyway (and thats if it ever turns up.
Anyway the long and short of it is that we arent doing it out of greed, only necessity.
Hope this helps Chris.
Regards
John
