I, like loads of other people, dream of making a living out of my greatest passion - house music. At the moment I'm stuck in a run-of-the-mill office job which does my head in and I would so much love to find a career in the dance music industry. I live in Clacton, am 24 years old, been passionate about house music since I was about 12 or 13, owned a pair of SL1200's for about five years and, like thousands of other bedroom djs, dream of making it to the big time. Does anyone out there or anyone at Rapture have any advice on how I might be able to get into the industry. The obvious choice (and probably the most difficult to get into) would be to earn a living DJing, but any area of dance music, club culture, dj technology or record sales would be fantastic to get involved in. Any advice would be greatly appreciated, many thanks.
