"We have concluded that when the principle of racial division (i.e. phyletism) is juxtaposed with the teaching of the Gospel and the constant practice of the Church, it is not only foreign to it, but also completely opposed, to it. We reject and condemn racial division, that is, racial differences, national quarrels and disagreements in the Church of Christ, as being contrary to the teaching of the Gospel and the holy canons of our blessed fathers, on which the holy Church is established and which adorn human society and lead it to Divine piety. 2. In accordance with the holy canons, we proclaim that those who accept such division according to races and who dare to base on it hitherto unheard-of racial assemblies are foreign to the One, Holy, Catholic and Apostolic Church and are real schismatics."     although we all say a mournful vechnaya pamyat for his Grace Kyrill, there now becomes a signifcant issue in the OCA

    1) will this Bulgarian Diocese continue or will it be incoprporated into the various OCA dioceses

    2) will this Bulgarian Diocese continue or will it be incorporated into the existing partiarchial group from which it orginally split

    3) with the new bishop be Bulgarian and serve both the Bulgarian and metropolia parishes or will there be two Bishops - one for the Bulgarian and one for the Metropolia parishes

    I believe this will be a watershed test, for a very prominent non OCA priest predicted 5 years ago that America will be come where there will no longer be SCOBA but a council of autonomous churches and that the two romanian, two albanian, and two bulgarian will unite as the ukrainians, serbians and antiochians have, and the russians will unite - metropolia, rocor and moscow ( moscow and rocor have already) and he said that the carpatho-russians will need to make a choice and then this group will move forward toward unity in america and the greeks will follow as a little puppy dog for they will be severely out numbered -- oh well so much for musings but this will be a test of the system
