While Orthodox Christianity is disfigured on the universal level by fruitless hierarchical contact and dialogue with the papacy and heterodox churches, here in America, the Greek Church under the supervision and direction of foreign political forces continues to pursue the re-instatement of an immigrant an ethnocratic Orthodox Church. In a recent encyclical letter on a Greek national holiday the Greek archbishop speaks as an ethnocrat calling faith and "ethnic" heritage as an "interrelationship". The "interrelationship referred to by the archbishop of ethnicity and theology is absolutely theologically groundless. This distortion of Orthodoxy that conflicts with sacred scriptures, the Holy Fathers, the synods, dogma, the creed and our sacred Tradition exposes the degree to which apostasy and heresy prevails in the Greek Church today.
