Although there might have been a disagreement between American Antiochian Orthodox Metropolitan Philip and the Orthodox Church in America(OCA) a few years ago, I am confident that Metropolitan Philip -- being a descendant of Christ's Apostles -- will do what is best for Christianity; that is, Metropolitan Philip will have a rapprochement with the OCA and soon meet with OCA Metropolitan Jonah and other Orthodox Metropolitans to establish a united American Orthodox Church. In addition to the Russian Orthodox jurisdiction, the OCA includes the Albanian and Bulgarian Orthodox jurisdictions; therefore, at least four of America's nine Orthodox jurisdictions would immediately become members of a united American Orthodox Church. The other five jurisdictions could also become members of this Church at this time, or in the near future. In order to enhance Orthodox Christianity in America, it is essential for the American Metropolitans to begin the unity process now, since delaying this process will only prolong the unnecessary floundering of America's nine Orthodox jurisdictions!
