In accordance with the holy canons, we proclaim that those who accept such division according to races and who dare to base on it hitherto unheard-of racial assemblies are foreign to the One, Holy, Catholic and Apostolic Church and are real schismatics." Hi!

FWIU, OCA numbers are often suppressed by parishes in order to hold down the amount of Assessment expected from them. I guess not everyone pays-up, yet reported numbers are the basis of Syosset's expectations traditionally. Sounds a little dysfunctional to me, though perfectly understandable humanly speaking. Trying to cope I guess?
