If you go to the original article and start reading the blog responses, it becomes very evident that the ACNA is not united within itself, much less ready to unite with Orthodoxy. Evidently there are at least two major divisions, along the lines of the Evangelical Anglicans (some of whom are evidently decidedly Calvanistic) and the Catholic Anglicans. The Evangelicals are reacting to Metropolitan Jonah's speech with "who invited him?" and "just who does he think he is?"
They absolutely do not have their act together, they are still Episcopalians after all, and unable to agree on just what they actually believe, much less agree to believe like us!
