I was just looking at the OCA's Hierarchs page and realized that His Eminence is now the actual-senior active Bishop in the OCA. He was consecrated a bishop in 1980. Next-longest in the Orthodox Episcopate among active OCA Hierarchs is Abp JOB of the Midwest, consecrated a bishop in '83. Abp DMITRI's retirement moved Nathaniel and Job up the order.
I say actual-senior because Metropolitan JONAH, of course, is canonically senior or first in honor, being Primate and a Metropolitan (as opposed to Archbishop or Bishop).
As it happens, today is the eve of the anniversary of Abp Nathaniel's ordination in Rome to the diaconate in the Greek Catholic Church.
Many Years to all of them!
Sincerely,
Leo
