I thought this would be over her name. It's her real birth and Latin baptismal name, you know: Madonna Louise Ciccone, nice Italian girl from Michigan, like the Italian mild expletive "Madonn' !" Actually I guess it's not quite an expletive, just taking in vain a reference to the Theotokos. Unless they're actually praying to her at that moment...! More common form: Donna.
