"We have concluded that when the principle of phyletism (i.e. ecclesiastical nationalism) is juxtaposed with the teaching of the Gospel and the constant practice of the Church, it is not only foreign to it, but also completely opposed, to it. We decree the following in the Holy Spirit: 1. We reject and condemn racial division, that is, racial differences, national quarrels and disagreements in the Church of Christ, as being contrary to the teaching of the Gospel and the holy canons of our blessed fathers, on which the holy Church is established and which adorn human society and lead it to Divine piety. 2. In accordance with the holy canons, we proclaim that those who accept such division according to races and who dare to base on it hitherto unheard-of racial assemblies are foreign to the One, Holy, Catholic and Apostolic Church and are real schismatics." "if any man I know, threw a young student and his 9-months' pregnant wife onto the street weeks before he was going to to seminary,"

Throwing out onto the street is a bit of a stretch of what happened. The student, who was scheduled to attend one seminary on a scholarship, was directed to attend a different seminary. Yes, his wife was pregnant and due momentarily, but they were not "thrown out on the street". Yes they had to move, but their support was not cut off, nor was such a threat made. It wasn't a very kind thing to do, but it wasn't "throwing them out on the street".

If you want examples of clergy thrown out on the street, there are plenty of them, and typically by parishes with concurrance of the local bishop. I know of one 59 year old OCA priest who was recovering from major spinal surgery. For reasons never presented, the parish asked their bishop for him to be changed from "assigned" to "attached" status so that they would no longer have to pay him his meagre $1200/month stipend (That was 2001 dollars). The bishop did as requested and the priest was left to fend for himself, with no support from the parish or bishop, nor offer of reassignment or help from the bishop. No income, no medical insurance, disabled and no offer of help. That's being "thrown out on the street".
