The Pope is one smooth operator. He just handed the Archbishop of Canterbury his a**. I'm proud of him. However, if we play our cards right, and ACNA realizes what's good for them (i.e. no priestesses, Filioque, Calvinism, etc.) they'll consider the freedome we'd give them.
Benedict is basically telling them "cross the Tiber." We can't do the same and expect an avalanche, because at least the RCs and the ACs still have a common litrugical tradition (plus they agree on the Filioque).
