is that Muslims become as nominal and relativistic as many modern "Christian" churches have become.
But no matter how you slice it, Islam is NOT a "live and let live" religion, plain and simple. "Islam" means "submission", not peace, and by any means deemed necessary, including force which is openly advocated throughout the Quran. Unlike most people advocating accomodation, I have actually READ the quran, and lived in a Muslim-dominated society.
Moderate Muslims should be berating their "extremist" members loudly and clearly. But they don't, because even they know who the REAL Muslims are and they are afraid to press the point. Until they "take over" Islam, you are going to see these scenes repeated over and over, or Christianity will disappear altogether like it has in Saudi Arabia, or dwindle as it has in Turkey, the Middle East in general, or any place that "Islam" has the upper hand politically-speaking.
