I also had problems with this breeder.I purchased a bi-black sheltie for Conformation dogshows, my puppy was born March 12,2008 and I had a Conformation contract.I planned on showing King in Dec. 2008 and she was very aware of that fact. She assured me that I would have everything needed to show him. I did not hear back from her and needless to say I did not get my papers.I was prepared to go to small claims court in FL. if neccessary for breach of contract. According to AKC and breeders I have talked to these papers should have been given to me at the time of purchase. I bought this dog in good faith. I paid a total of $1400, this included S/H from FL.to AR. I finally got my paperwork Jan. 2009. I should receive my official papers any day now from the AKC and then I can put this experience behind me. I was much luckier than Christy, my boy is healthy. EA
