Ted can come back but I think I'd like him better far away from Jaime's series. This volume of Blue Beetle is so almost perfect why risk ruining it by adding Ted?

: Disagree. ted would make a great mentor and
: the fill in issues could feature Ted in his
: old costume instead of treading watre
: stories by other creative teams.

: I'm going to have to reluctantly agree.
: Even
: if they bring him back in a way that
: preserves the originals tory (a la android
: Hourman sacrificing for the original in Zero
: Hour) it would undercut every good thing to
: come out of thedrama of Ted Kord's murder.

: As much as I was a fan of Ted Kord in the
: day,
: I think DC should leave the character dead.
: The way that he died and the importance the
: death had in the greater DC continuity has
: had much too much impact overall to be
: undone. Ted's death ranks up there with
: Barry Allen's sacrifice and Barbara Gordon's
: cripppling. Even if a new Blue Beetle
: hadn't been created since Ted Kord being
: murdered by Maxwell Lord I'd still be saying
: this.
