I only bought five comics today and I wish that I hadn't bought two of those. The only reason Booster Gold wasn't the worst is that another issue of Hitch's stiffly posed F4, underwritten by Millar, came out. The Blue And Gold arc continues on in BG with two (two!) more installments to come. The art is Jurgens' worse ever (I think it's the incompatibility of his inker but he could be rushing or maybe even drawing with his feet) and the writing is just plain terrible. It took two writers to do this? I guess so because the second writer would have been needed to delete anything that actually came off as funny. Part of my problem is being utterly convinced Ted's going back in a pine box whenever this arc finally finishes but there are so many logical lapses. An example: Why did Rip tell Daniel's future ex-wife anything? If the moron cared about the sanctity of time he would have either lied, said nothing, or sedated the woman. My advice? Read reviews and spoilers of this issue and let your imagination do a better job of fleshing out the details than the professionals did.
