One of my favorite books, Blue Beetle, continues its lame duck way towards its last issue. It's jus a freeform bitterness, because I can't fault DC for giving up finally or really fellow fans for not buying the book. It was quirky and fun and those two words don't describe a whole lot of successful books. I'll miss it even if the art was never what I'd call great or that the writing took a dip when Rogers left. Not a colossal lowering of quality like when Checkmate lost Rucka but it couldn't have helped.
Good-bye, Jaime. I just wish you were going to call home a book I could still buy. Since McKeever mischaracterizes most of the Teen Titans cast I won't even see you there...
