Agreed, its good that BB has his own backup in lieu of no title himself. His adventures helps compensate for the the not-really-gonna-happen aspect of the Booster stories. Plus on the plus side for Beetlemania there is the Black Beetle thing going on in the feature story.
The backup feature felt fillerish and unfortunately it is only 2 of 3. Picking up on the Paco and Brenda thing was something. Though a more notable adversary for this new monthly fit for Jaime wouldve been something better.
It was hard to get emtionally invested in the fight against Black Beetle. Who is to say these altered Teen Titans were jobbing or just more incompetant. More interested by BB's mystery mentor than his abilities to tip the battle scales to such an -easily resettable- extreme result.
Its already July and dont recall too many sexy swimwear scenes yet. At least this issue had this page -better than nothing- that can be peaked at imageshack...
