The Atlanteans consider Neptune, Father Neptune. Is Neptune the actual father of the Atlantean race? We all know his brother Zues got physically active with mortal women, including Herc's mother. It's reasonable to believe Neptune could have involved himself with Atlantean women to be the actual physical Father of the Atlantean race. Namor's heritage is from the Imperial blood line as leader of the Atlanteans. But, what if Namor is an actual descendant of Father Neptune? Could Namor be a demi-god ala Hercules? I know it wouldn't be exactly the same since Zues was Herc's actual father from his relations with Herc's earth mom. It would make more sense this way though, since Namor is far far stronger, more powerful, and with many abilities neither Atlanteans nor humans possess. Namor couldn't have inherited this from an Atlantean-human union alone. His hybrid-mutation has god-like qualities involved far beyond a mix of mere Atlantean-human genetics. I think there's some Olympian blood in the Atlantean bloodline to give Namor is unique abilities. Neptune also personally blessed Namor when he won and recaptured the missing trident of Neptune in TTA #75. Watcha' think?
