Also, the Marvel Handbook, Avengers 2004 edition lists the probability that Namor flies by using telekinetic power. The handbook states that the wings on Namor's feet are much too small to enable flight. It also states that much of Namor's abilities are unexplained because "they depend upon some factor of his Atlantean mutant nature that is not yet understood." Avenging Son

: Wouldn't that mean that Namor is related to
: Hercules? Since Neptune/Poseidon is brother
: of Jupiter/Zeus who is father of Hercules.
: Therefore, Namor would be very distant
: relative to Herc.
This further encourages my theory that Namor gets his power from a physical, mental, and spiritual link with Father Neptune. If Neptune had relations with Namor's great, great, great, etc., grandmother it would make sense of Namor's unique abilities especially if Neptune designated Namor as his "chosen one"! Namor is far more powerful than any Atlantean, and certainly any human, both is physical prowess and his unique oneness with the sea. Namor has stated that he possesses the power of the sea and all it's inhabitants.
It's no wonder FF heroes reborn #2 states that Namor is perhaps the most powerful man on the planet. Yet, knowing all this and with bountiful material to work with Namor remains a second thought to Marvel creators. When will the madness end?
