The most striking thing about it is the excamations Namor uses. Within this one issue he comes up with: - Sufferin' Sea Bass! - Galloping Guppies! - Hopping Herrings! - Sizzling Sardines! - Cackling Catfish! - Pickled Pikel! - Cock-Eyed Codfish! - Dancing Dogfish! - Clucking Clams! - Holy Halibut! - Flyin' Flunder! - Shivering Shad! - Shuttlin' Sharks! - Jumping Jellyfish! - Peppered Perch! - Rompin Roel! ..." Also in Tales to Astonish and the following Sub-Mariner series he likes to shout exclamations like "By the Gleaming Gates" or "Nereid's Nemesis!" (it would take a large amount of time to search for them all). Sure, the 40s have been the boomtime for exclamations.
