When you look at the A/B teams, they tend to be very similar, longevity, playmakers at every position and most have played big time ball in college or ven the pros. Usually there is abig time sponsor behind them as well.
C teams are usually good athletes and are teams most often times comprised of other team's players that get reformed under a new name. C teams are typically a community (players, sports bars) type funding.
Not all A/B teams or all C teams operate this way, but I would venture to guess over 75% do.
The system is in place, you win a division, you move up. It isn't going to change anytime soon.
