First off, The referee's need to be in better control of the game. Even if they have to call an official timeout and bring both coaches or captains together. Even both teams if need be.
Secondly, whoever runs the USFTL need to be at these tournaments. Especially the Majors. There is too much riding to have this type of mishaps.
Third, the tournament director needs to step in in situations like this and do what right for the benefit of both teams but not only that for the tournament it's self and the brand that it's under. You must maintain the integrity of the game and the tournament.
Let's get it right before it's too late.
