Yes, you would get more points, but you would still lose ground to the upper A teams that are finishing towards the top of A tournaments. You would not go in with a high seeding necessarily, just a higher one than you would have had you done poorly in A tournaments. Like I said, there is not much you can do about sandbagging and there are plenty of ways to use the system to artificially increase your ranking. If you finish at the bottom of every A tournament, then for all intents and purposes you are a B team. To your main point though, I agree it isnt right a lower division team can be seeded above an upper division team.
