Field Expansion at Austin Tindall Regional Park - Location of USFTL National Championships!!!
Austin Tindall Regional Park, location of the USFTL National Championships, has announced a grand plan for expansion, doubling the size of the entire park!!! The new area will include:
* 5 new full-size Bermuda grass fields with lights
* Championship Game field will have stadium-style seating
* Picnic area near surrounding ponds
* Playground areas
* More concession buildings
* Additional locker rooms
* Extra parking will boarder the new area
Three of the five new fields will be completed for the 2012 Nationals, in January of 2013 and the final two fields will be ready for the following Nationals.
The USFTL is very excited about this field expansion, it brings us closer to the ultimate goal which is to eliminate the satellite locations we have had to use in the past. We should now be able to have all 300+ teams playing at the Austin Tindall Regional Park!
The 2012 USFTL National Flag Football Championships will be held on MLK weekend, January 18, 19 & 20, 2013 at Austin Tindall Regional Park in Kissimmee, FL!
