Talking with my friend the other day who is a Star Wars fanatic and discussing the tradgedy that is the last 2 prequels, when we entertained the idea of Steven Seagal playing Qui-Gon Jin or some other Jedi.
Lucas really missed an opportunity with his Japanese inspired Jedi/Sith and forgetting the most Japanized American actor in action movies today. I mean Seagal had the ponytail thing down way before phantom menace characters were put on paper.
I also believe he would be the only Jedi who wouldn't even blink if taking on Darth Maul or Vader himself unlike Neeson's limp effort. I can even imagine Seagal taking a kendo stance with a lightsaber and saying something like "You bailed out Jar Jar Binks the other day, I want him. This other piece of shit, Senator Palpatine, I want him. I know you're a scumbag and a puke, I don't mind that, but give me what I need and I'll leave here a nice guy. If you don't, I'm gonna #### you up feed you your own horns.
