It was so humid, fans were passing out in the stands, the PA announcer actually asked the fans to pay attention to those sitting nearby for signs of heat exhaustion. Kinda wierd, eh.
But, I can definately see the draw to retire there. spring training, cheap golf...and the ft meyers/naples area has become very very nice. Fron what I understand, 20 years ago it used to be an undesirable area, and cheap to buy. but lately it has become one of the most desirable areas because of it's lack of hurricane hits.
Hitting a spring training game was on my "bucket list"....any baseball fan oughtta make the trip at least 1x....if not florida, then cactus league, eh.
