The draft isn't all it once was. Huge sums of money for unproven players. Obviously many turn out because they are the NFL but to get a player that has already proven it against major league talent is HUGE. Glenn Dorsey may be a stud? He'll certainly get paid like one. If we stayed and drafted Phillip Merling and 2 third rounders????? Who knows? This team is built for now and next year and maybe one more. That is precisely why we don't need another project player, errrr quarterback. We've already got one. We need a veteran ala Trent Dilfer and what he did for the Ravens, or something similar. A thrower to keep defenses honest and score some points. SOMEONE TO STOP THE OTHER TEAM FROM STACKING THE BOX. A veteran. or T-Jack and his arm which is completely capable. I'm not sure if I have less confidence in T-Jack as a leader or Brad as a play caller. Therein lies the HURDLE. Everybody on three.............JUMP.
