There is actually not a lot to analyze. I already gave my thoughts about Dennis Dixon in a prior post. I am extremely skeptical how Booty was a better pick than Dixon in the first round. Booty never even proved himself at the college level in my book. There is about 50 college QBs who could have been as productive as Booty was behind SC's O-line and talent.
In another time, Jonathan Stewart would have been a great RB to have for Minnesota. But obviously that is not a need at this point.
I highly recommend going after Duck receiver Cameron Colvin. As I type this, he is still undrafted. He was a big time recruit for Oregon 4 years ago. He struggled a bit for his first few years, and has become better known for making some key drops and fumbles at crucial moments in games. But a lot of his problems was bad luck with changing Offensive coordinators and radically changing the offensive system at Oregon while he was there. This past year he was on the verge of having a breakout season before breaking an ankle. However, there is no reason at this point to think he is injury prone. He is fast and can make big time cuts over the middle yet also has pretty decent size. And of course the Vikings can use receivers. Even I am souring on Troi Williamson ever having a breakout season.
