There are a lot of predictions out there. Favre will be tight. Rodgers will be pressing. Here is what this is going to come down to: which teams wants to win it for their QB more.
There are a lot of reasons some Packer fans hated that game yesterday and number one with a bullet it that the Vikings want Favre to win more than ever. He won the locker room early, so what?! Yesterday he took command of the team on the feild. And now, they owe Brett Favre. Top to bottom the entire team realizes that game was lost. Jared Allen said it was like being a kid again.
Do not under-estimate what yesterdays victory meant for this team. The Viking players will say all the right things... well maybe not Allen; they will talk about it being just another division game and how they are all important.
It's bullsh1t. They know the history, they know the story, and like many players they don't care much for management. Favre is "their guy" now and they are going to bust their collective ass to beat the Packers for HIM.
Until yesterday I wasn't sure. It's the main reason I have avoided talking about the Packers game. Look at the teams out there and you can see the players work hard for the QB. Brady, Manning(s), Montana, Marino, and all the greats.
Its called leadership, that quality that is the difference between, I think you can make it and I know you can make it.
I expect better execution from here on out. Accountability is now expected.
